Every Student Succeeds Act

Tracking changes in education, we are highlighting new guidelines from the US Department of Education related to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), reauthorized under the title of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). As the year progresses, we will keep the New Hampshire Arts Learning Network website updated with links to arts-related opportunities associated with ESSA and keep you informed through the Dandelion. The Arts Education Partnership (AEP), now housed at the Education Commission of the States (ECS), provides a series of links on ESSA in general and arts education in particular.

Voice your opinion on the Arts: Survey Open on Draft State Plan for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

The New Hampshire Department of Education has released a first draft of its Consolidated State Plan for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Please take some time to read through the plan and provide feedback through the online survey. The Survey will be open until June 23rd at 4:00 p.m. Suggestions for making arts-related revisions to the state plan can be found in the Spring/ Summer 2017 Dandelion.
